AWU is the brain child of one of Uganda 's most experienced bird guides, Mr. Alfred Twinomujuni. After working for several tour companies for over 12 years, Alfred decided to set up AWU mainly to try and bolster the Birding sector of the growing tourism industry as well as to provide quality services for general Safaris.

Our staff consists of a team of dedicated and professional people whose main purpose is to satisfy our clients.

The pearl of Africa, in our honest opinion, is one of the most beautiful spots on this planet and AWU believes everyone has the right to behold nature's beauty.
